Tiny Trails

Take a tiny 4x4 out into a world that builds itself around you.

You only ever see a small circle of land around your truck. Drive towards the edge and new hills, rivers, forests and trails rise up out of the dark, like a little floating island that follows you wherever you go. Climb high ground and the circle opens up so you can see further.

There's no fuel timer to beat and no game over. Just you, the truck, and wherever the trail goes.

Things to do

• Follow dirt trails, crawl up hills and splash across river crossings
• Get the truck properly muddy, then wash it off in a creek
• Collect firewood, berries and mushrooms along the way
• Pitch camp anywhere, cook dinner and sleep under the stars
• Stop by the water and go fishing (watch out for old boots)
• Find old cabins and hilltop lookouts
• Collect 5 map fragments, then follow the compass to buried treasure and earn a new sticker for your truck

Every world is randomly generated. Day turns into night, the headlights come on and the fireflies come out. Your progress saves in your browser as you play.

Controls

• W / S or Up / Down: drive and reverse
• A / D or Left / Right: turn
• E: cook or rest at camp
• C: pitch camp
• F: fish (and press again when you get a bite)
• H: horn
• I, J, M: items, journal, map
• P: photo mode (hides the HUD)
• Esc: pause
